CAIRO – 3 October 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday in mixed note as benchmark EGX30 that went down 0.50 percent at 13,930 points.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 inched down 0.12 percent to end at 784 points. The broader index EGX100 leveled up 0.34 percent to close at 1,768 points.
Market capitalization grew LE 4.7 billion Tuesday to LE 764.9 billion, compared to to LE 760.19 billion in Monday transactions.
Arab individuals and institutions were net sellers at LE 9.6 million and LE 5.2 million respectively, while foreign institutions sold at LE 83.2 million. Egyptian individuals, institutions and foreign individuals purchased at LE 1.3 million, LE 5.8 million and LE 90.8 million respectively.
