The Big 5 Construct Egypt
This edition has seen a 30 percent growth in international participation year on year, with exhibiting companies from over 20 countries and three new country pavilions from Poland, Qatar and Spain.
This came during the inauguration of the fourth edition of The Big 5 Construct Egypt exhibition, where the event witnessed the participation of the Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering for the first time this year.
The exhibition runs under the patronage of Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, and will be inaugurated by Minister of Housing, Assem El Gazzar, as it is the only construction event supported by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.
The third edition was opened by Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and enjoyed the support of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities & Urban Communities, Egypt.
The event will take place until June 28, providing a safe platform where the community can reconnect, revitalize business activities, and rebuild partnerships, all by meeting face-to-face.
The event which comes with the support of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities & Urban Communities, Egypt, are held at the Cairo International Convention Center during June 26-29.
According to the data revealed in the conference, Egypt is the third largest construction market in the MENA region, and that activity remains a bright spot for the Egyptian economy with a pipeline of known and un-awarded projects worth $354.8 billion in the country.
The company noted that Egypt’s construction sector has remained a top performer in the MENA region despite the COVID-19 impact with $15 billion worth of contracts awarded in 2020.
Construction in Egypt is expected to have grown at 7.7 percent in 2020, and 8.9 percent in 2021 according to GlobalData.
