The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) is working for luring green infrastructure investments, Saeed noted in her remarks for the conference, organized by "Irada" in cooperation with the African Development Bank Group (AfDB).
Maait elaborated during his meeting with members of the British Egyptian Business Association, that the increase of green investments comes in order to improve Egypt's competitiveness in the Environmental Performance Index.
Maait elaborated that Hayah Karima is the largest project and one of the best development programs in the world, as it contributes to recording real growth that is more diversified and comprehensive and has an impact on people’s lives.
El-Said stressed the importance of taking practical steps to implement the "environmental sustainability standards" guide, by spreading the culture of sustainability, and defining mechanisms for monitoring performance indicators for all sectors.
The minister’s remarks came during her participation in the 2nd edition of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, which kicked off on Monday.
