Financing Agreements
It published the Presidential Decree No. 559 of 2021 approving the Conventional Facility Agreement between the Arab Republic of Egypt through the Ministry of Finance, with First Abu Dhabi Bank and other parties, with a total value of $1.5 billion as a green loan used to finance green projects, signed on November 11, 2021.
$131 million was secured through cooperation with the African Development Bank (AfDB) to implement the Program for Integrated Rural Sanitation In Upper Egypt in Luxor.
This came during A-Mashat’s meeting with a delegation from the French Treasury to follow up on the status of current projects and harness new opportunities in Egypt-France’s cooperation to provide development financing for green recovery, transportation, housing, sanitation, and health.
