According to CNN, Egypt is currently engaged in intensified global efforts to secure the release of captives held in Gaza and negotiate an extended ceasefire amidst ongoing fighting, CNN reported on Friday.
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abu El Gheit said that this conflict has negatively affected the Arab citizens when it comes to the supply of grain, tourism, and high prices of oil.
