On the 48th anniversary of the 6th of October War in 1973, Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has directed strong messages to people about the lessons learnt between the 1967 defeat and the 1973 war.
The Egyptian army achieved victory over the Israeli enemy, and was able to regain the land despite the obstacles and hardships.
The ceremony will also witness the honoring of five families of the October War martyrs, and five of the wounded during the war.
The symposium comes within the celebrations of Egypt’s Ministry of Culture of the 47th anniversary of the Glorious October Victory.
On October 14, the Faculty of Information, Cairo University, will hold a discussion session on the occasion of the glorious victories of the Sixth of October War, entitled "Drama and October Victory: A Media Vision of the Epic of Building and Expression".
