This comes within the framework of the company's plans to expand its network specialized in charging electric cars throughout Egypt, and in line with the government's vision to build a strong and integrated system for electric cars in the local market.
The increase in the number of applicants came after the ministry extended the deadline of receiving applications to March 24.
The Cabinet said that this comes to meet the needs of these cars and vehicles, and the procedures required during the current stage, within the framework of the state's strategy towards localizing the automobile and electric vehicles industry and expanding their use.
The decision to extend the deadline, which will end on March 24, was taken upon request of three companies, which voiced keenness to take part in the project.
The company said in a statement, Monday, that it owns a network of electric vehicle charging stations that includes more than 40 stations and more than 150 charging points.
