CAIRO - 18 April 2022: Infinity, Egypt's renewable energy solutions provider, announced the launch of seven new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the Delta region for the first time.
This comes within the framework of the company's plans to expand its network specialized in charging electric cars throughout Egypt, and in line with the government's vision to build a strong and integrated system for electric cars in the local market.
These stations represent the company's first presence in the delta region, and include seven new charging stations with a total of 20 charging points in key and important locations that are easily accessible from anywhere in the delta.
The stations are located in Shebin El-Koum, Mansoura and Damietta, where Infiniti is the only company that provides charging stations for electric cars in these cities at the present time, and it comes within the framework of Infinity's ambitious plan to expand in the entire Delta region.
“Having the largest EV charging network across the country, we continue to work effortlessly in order to expand our network in new regions in order to fulfill consumer needs across the country,” Shams Abdel Ghaffar, Managing Director, Infinity EV Division, said.
He added that the company looks forward to fulfilling the government’s plans to build a robust ecosystem for EVs in Egypt and we will continue to expand its network, to reach this goal.
