National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat
The Grand Theater of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat hosted a musical celebration for the famous Egyptian marimba player Nesma Abdel Aziz.
The museum’s administration welcomed the guests and visitors and offered them sweets and chocolates as a welcoming gesture.
It is one of the largest international museums as well as the only museum of its kind in Egypt, the Arab world, the Middle East and Africa.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat launched the activities of the training course, which will last for six days, to raise the efficiency of the museum's employees.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, carried out in cooperation with UNESCO.
Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el-Anani inspected the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat on Saturday, following a meeting held with the museum’s board of directors.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat received 17 royal coffins to be restored and displayed ahead of receiving the royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir in a solemn procession.
Archeologists celebrate the International Museum Day every year on May 18.
In total, 22 royal mummies will be transferred to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
A total of 22 mummies and 17 royal coffins are set to be transported.
This came on the sidelines of the students' visit to Egypt to attend the World Youth Forum 2019 in Sharm El-Sheikh.
