The letter extended the emir’s greetings to Sisi and expressed the keenness to promote bilateral relations between Egypt and Kuwait, a statement by the Egyptian Presidency read.
Sisi’s remarks came as he received on Saturday Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti foreign minister, who carried a message from Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber.
Sisi wished the new Kuwaiti emir success in carrying out his duties and expressed his full confidence in Sheikh Nawaf’s ability to achieve further prosperity and progress in Kuwait.
