Minister of Defense and General Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mohamed Zaki attended the main stage of the tactical exercise
The Egyptian Armed Forces released Sunday updates on the Egyptian-Pakistani exercises dubbed "Sky Guardians 1."
The main phase began with displaying the preparatory and organizational measures of the mission.
The president issued another decree appointing the former commander of the branch, Major-General Ali Fahmy, military consultant at the presidency.
The Egyptian Air Defense celebrates Tuesday its 50th day, marking the first day of the week dubbed "The Fall of the Phantom Week."
The funeral was also attended by Minister of Defense and Military production Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid, as well as former and current commanders of the branches.
Since its receipt by Turkey earlier this month, the Russian S-400 missile system has triggered a strong response by its fellow NATO member the United States.
