Egyptian actor and writer Amin will play the lead role of Refaat Ismail. The series, which will go into production in November, will be directed by Egyptian director Amr Salama joined by the Emirati director Majid al-Ansari.
The Umbrella Academy launches globally on Netflix February 15, 2019.
