Alexandria Opera
The first concert will be performed on April 29 at 9:30 p.m. at the Fountain Theater of Cairo Opera House and on May 5 in Alexandria Opera House’s Sayed Darwish Theater.
Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem approved the artistic and cultural program of the Egyptian Opera House during the holy month of Ramadan, which will be held on opera theaters in Cairo, Alexandria and Damanhour.
The Egyptian Opera House celebrates the Christmas holidays, where the Cairo Opera Troupe performs three concerts in Cairo and Alexandria.
The 29th Arabic Music Festival continues its activities, presenting four concerts on November 5, in Cairo, Alexandria and Damanhour, all starting at 8 pm.
The concerts’ program includes a collection of the most famous international jazz works, along with Arabic music recast in jazz music.
The concert will be performed by various opera stars, including Mai Farouk, Ahmed Effat, Sabreen al-Nujaily, Yasser Suleiman and clarinet player Mohamed Fawzy.
“This concert will be a great success, as Gutu has proved to be an important classical musicianwith a large and growing audience,” Said Saidi.
The Cairo Opera House will present six shows of famed Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "The Nut Cracker" from Dec. 25-30, 2018.
