The evening will be moderated by writer Sawsan Radwan and a number of young poets and individuals with special needs will participate.
The competition is hosted by Bayt al-Sinnari [Al-Sinnari House] affiliated to the BA’s Cultural Communication Sector, in recognition of the poet’s enriching journey in consolidating the creativity values represented in various art forms.
In its 34th edition, the Literary Conference of Egypt celebrates iconic late poet Bayram al-Tunisi; one of Egypt’s most famous colloquial poets.
The American University in Cairo is set to announce the winner of Ahmad Fouad Negm Award for Egyptian Colloquial Poetry on Monday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
