Medical crew has stepped into a tunnel dug underground for several meters and reached Moroccan child Rayan, who fell some 32 metres down an empty well and has been trapped for days since then, said local reports.
The ministry said in a statement that the two wells will be put on the map of production in 2020.
The well miraculously gave out water when Ibrahim’s son, Ismail, was thirsty and crying in the desert with his mother, Hajar.
Egypt has been intensifying work to accelerate gas production from discovered fields.
