Pope Tawadros II, the Pope of Alexandria and the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, will lead the Holy Resurrection (Easter) Mass tonight at St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassiya, Cairo.
The celebration will be attended by several ministers, senior officials, statesmen, representatives of the President of the Republic, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, as well as members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi sent a greeting cable to Pope Tawadros II on the occasion of Easter, Extra News reported.
