Salva Kiir Mayardit
Kiir thanked his Egyptian counterpart, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, for Egypt’s support to people of South Sudan at the times of crises, as he received Egyptian Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati.
Egypt’s head of the General Intelligence General Abbas Kamel handed over a message from President Abdel Fatah al Sisi to South Sudanese President.
“We will never forget Cairo’s stances and support for South Sudan, especially with our students who study at Egypt’s universities,” Mayardit told Abdel Aal.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met with South Sudanese counterpart on Thursday at the Heliopolis (Ittihadia) presidential palace in Cairo. President Salva Kiir Mayardit reached the Egyptian capital on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a protocol training program for 11 South Sudanese cadres working at the office of President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry inaugurated on Monday the dialysis unit Egypt offered to the Juba Teaching Hospital in South Sudan.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi has received Mayik Aye Deng, minister of presidential affairs in South Sudan and the special envoy of President Salva Kiir.
