Essam El Erian
Egypt's General Prosecution said it assigned a forensic doctor to examine the body of the detained member of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group Essam El Erian, who passed away on Thursday, and found no signs of abuse, which suggests that he died from natural causes.
Eirian and six other convicts were sentenced to life imprisonment in September 2019 for the charges of staging a prison break during the 2011 Revolution.
The Cairo Criminal Court postponed on Saturday the trial of Guide of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood Group (MB) Mohamed Badie and 738 other MB leaders.
The Cairo Court of Appeals rejected Thursday MB Leader Essam El Erian's appeal to recuse Judge Mohamed Sherin Fahmy in the trial over espionage.
