Dagestan
Russia said on Saturday it had killed nine militants who had been plotting a terrorist act in the volatile Dagestan region in the south of the country.
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has uncovered a "sleeper cell" linked to Daesh that was active both in Moscow and the North Caucasus region.
Daesh on Monday claimed responsibility for an attack on policemen in the city of Kaspiisk in the Russian Republic of Dagestan.
