Egypt’s Flag carrier EgyptAir, announced on Friday, intensifying flights to accommodate pilgrims wishing to return to Egypt as part of its air bridge to transport the pilgrims after the end of the Hajj rituals from the Holy Lands.
The PM said that these companies resorted to unofficial means to facilitate the pilgrims’ travel without providing them with logistical services or adhering to the regulatory frameworks.
As per the president’s directives, the crisis cell will closely monitor and manage the situation regarding the deceased pilgrims, the Egyptian Presidency said in a statement.
