The meeting was attended by a number of Egyptian military forces leaders who discussed Egyptian participation in peacekeeping forces for the UN.
Egypt ranked third largest contributor to the U.N. peacekeeping operations for the current period, according to the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO).
