Investing for Employment (IFE) held a media roundtable to further elaborate its goals and role in supporting the economy in several African countries and creating new job opportunities for growth prospects.
The agreement was signed by Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and KfW Office Cairo Director, Bernd Siegfried.
It added the development cooperation portfolio with Egypt through the German bank hit 1.1 million euros in forms of loans and grants.
The agreement stipulates the establishment of two offices in Cairo with the aim of supporting developmental cooperation between Egypt and Germany.
Parliament approved on Tuesday a €225 million agreement previously signed between the Investment Ministry and the German KfW Development Bank.
Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr invited the German Development Bank to support private sector’s role in the economic development process.
