Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry underlined the need for an immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza and unhindered aid delivery to more than two million people in the strip.
Séjourné made the comments during his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Egypt in the presence of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
France has expressed its appreciation to Egypt for their assistance in facilitating the safe evacuation of seven Palestinian children who were wounded in Gaza. The children have been relocated to French hospitals for medical treatment.
