Egypt is preparing Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital to be a model for the first green hospital in the country as part of Egypt's preparations for hosting the United Nations Climate Change Conference in its next twenty-seventh session. COP27 Sharm El Sheikh next November.

The Sharm El-Sheikh International Hospital will be presented as a model for the first green hospital in Egypt, said Ibrahim Fakhr, a member of the Egyptian General Authority for the Healthcare in a statement on Thursday.
