Bardawil
Bardawil Lake is one of the most important Egyptian lakes free of pollution, whether agricultural or industrial. The fish caught from the lake are of high quality, such as: bream, sea bass, wrasse, tobara, mullet family, plaice, shrimp, and crab.
Dr. Shukri Salman, director of Lake Bardawil, pointed out that opening the lake achieves a recovery for all areas of the villages that surround it, as its residents rely on fishing to make a living.
