The area contains many temples, tombs, quarries, churches, monasteries, and industrial workshops. This is in addition to being a residential city.
The exhibition will run until mid-June.
Researchers have cataloged more than 18,000 inscribed pottery, and some of these inscriptions appear to have been written by students.
