Egypt’s star Khaled el Sawy to receive Career Achievement Award from El Gouna Film Festival.
Sept. 25 marks the fifth anniversary of the departure of Khaled Saleh; he unexpectedly passed away on Sept. 25, 2014.
In its 26th edition, Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theater honors artist Khaled el Sawy, for his theatrical work as a writer, director and actor.
“Nostalgia” is a romantic movie that discusses the daily lives of young people and the situations they are exposed to.
“I was enthusiastic about this series as it shed light on an Arab national issue, and to learn about the human dimension of this scientist.” Said Sawy.
Sawy expressed to the press on Aug. 22 that he is extremely happy to be part of the film’s cast, pointing out that he admires working with Ahmed Helmy very much.
