CAIRO_4 April 2020: Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman praised the Egyptian government's efforts to bring Egyptian athletes back home through a private plane after Egypt decided to suspend International air traffic in airports nationwid amid the spread of coronavirus.
"Thank God, I arrived in Egypt yesterday with a group of athletes, and I am currently in quarantine for two weeks in Marsa Alam." Farida tweeted.
Osman was preparing for her participation in the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo, initially schedule in 2020 summer, but the event was postponed to 2021 summer following the spread of coronavirus.
Farida continued "I want to tell you that these quarantine procedures are very important, and people responsible for these procedures care alot about us. I would like to thank them for their wonderful efforts and for looking after us."
