CAIRO – 25 July 2018: Barcelona new Brazilian signing, Malcom de Oliveira, revealed his happiness after Barcelona signed him from French club, FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

“This is a boyhood dream come true. It is a unique feeling. I'm realizing a dream and I'm going to play for the best club in the world,” Malcom told Barcelona official website on Tuesday.

The player was about to join AS Roma in Italy but a last minute offer from Barcelona changed his direction to Spain.

The Brazilian added: “I hope to bring a lot of joy to the fans. I can't wait to get started. I'm here to help my teammates with my style.”

Malcom continued: “I always try to help my teammates and I am looking forward to meet the ones I will have at Barcelona.”

Malcom will join his new teammates for their pre-season tour in USA.

Malcom, 23, started his career at his hometown club, Corinthians, when he was 11 and he got promoted through the club rankings till he joined the first team in 2014 and a year later, he led them to achieve the Brazilian League title.

Malcom joined Bordeaux in January 2016, and since then he has established himself as one of the most promising talents in Europe.
