CAIRO-9 December 2021: Jordan's striker Hamza Al Dardour believes that his team can continue their journey in the FIFA Arab Cup and knock Egypt out of the competition when the two teams face off in the quarter-finals.
"We will face a strong team with a rich history. They have a strong group of players. We have much respect for them and we will do our best to win the game." Al Dardour said.
Jordan reached the second round of the competition after finishing second in the group stage behind Morocco while The Pharaohs topped their group after a fierce battle with Algeria.
The striker added "We have the desire to continue our journey in the competition. We have one goal and we are united to achieve it. I believe that we can surprise Egypt."
Al Dardour is enjoying his best time with The Chivalrous as he extended his lead as his nation's historic top scorer with 32 goals when he managed to visit Palestine's nets during the group stage.
Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah will host the game on 11 December.
