Egypt denies reports on resuming aviation movement to normal

CAIRO- 1 May 2020: The Cabinet Media Center has termed as groundless and baseless reports on returning aviation movement to normal as of May 16.

In a statement Friday, the center said it contacted the Ministry of Aviation which dismissed the reports, pointing out that the suspension of flights continued in light a cabinet decision and that no new measures have been taken yet.

It appealed to media and social media users to verify their reports before publishing them in order to avoid any confusion among public opinion.

Meanwhile, 39 special flights have been organized in the past weeks to repatriate Egyptians stranded abroad in coordination between the ministries of foreign affairs and emigration.
