Let’s be honest, we all have those days when we just don’t feel okay. Days when no matter how hard we try, finding the bright side seems impossible. It’s totally normal to feel this way, and those days can feel dark and heavy. On days like these, feel free to take a break or step away from a situation you don’t feel comfortable about.

Don't be too hard on yourself about it. Everyone goes through ups and downs. Remember, it’s part of being human, and you are not alone in this experience. Embrace these feelings, give yourself enough space to feel them, and know that brighter days are ahead. Here are some advice that will help you during your hard times.

Be Kind to Yourself
The words we say to and about ourselves hold significant power in shaping our thoughts, feelings, and overall well-being. It's essential to be kind and gentle with what we tell ourselves, especially during challenging times. It's important to acknowledge and accept our difficult emotions such as sadness, frustration, or anxiety rather than suppressing them or judging ourselves for feeling this way. Take your time to process these emotions and heal, feel free to cry when you need to, and prioritize extra self-care.

It’s Okay to Feel Your Feelings
We all experience bad mental health days and moments when it's hard to see the positive side of things. It’s important to embrace these emotions in order to be able to deal with them. Instead of trying to escape difficult or uncomfortable emotions, take the time to sit and give yourself the space to feel and process what you're going through. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that you're not okay; recognizing this and accepting that “it’s okay” will be the first step toward releasing the pain.

Communicate Your Emotions
When going through a hard time you tend to feel you want to be alone and withdraw from others. Sometimes it’s hard to admit that you’re not okay, but opening up and reaching out to others is often the best thing these times. Don’t try to pretend that everything is okay when it really isn’t; reach out to a friend or your family and let them help you through this time. Letting people help us through these times not only speeds up the healing process, but can also strengthen our relationships.

Everything Happens for A Reason
There is always a reason behind our sufferings, though the triggers may differ from one person to another. The challenges and experiences we face during these times in our lives are essential, as they provide opportunities for personal growth and development, they ultimately play a crucial role in shaping our character in profound ways. These times give you a chance to mature, change, and evolve and teach us how strong we are.

It Will Pass
Remember that no emotion is permanent. Anger and sadness are just like happiness and joy, they come and go. To truly release our painful feelings, we must first allow ourselves to experience them fully. Only then can we genuinely let them pass through us and find healing. It’s essential to confront these emotions, as avoiding them will only prolong our suffering. Embrace the struggle, and you’ll pave the way for true emotional freedom.
