The holy month that all Muslims around the world are eagerly waiting for is around the corner. Each year, Ramadan gives us the opportunity to reflect and get closer to God. However, in order to prepare for it, we must change some of our daily habits to ensure staying healthy and to avoid disruptions during Ramadan, we have the guide you need.

1. Minimize your coffee intake
Everyone needs their caffeine fix early in the morning, some even drink two cups. Try to limit your caffeine intake before Ramadan starts. In this way, you will give your body a chance to adapt and you will avoid unnecessary headaches.

2. Drink more water
Believe us, you don't want to start Ramadan feeling dehydrated all the time. Instead, make sure to drink at least 8 cups per day, and to increase the quantity after you break your fast.

3. Maintain a nutritious diet
The weeks leading up to Ramadan can be used to reduce food consumption and eliminate snacks to prepare your body and mind for the fasting mood. It will also help you lose weight and maintain it during the holy month.

4. Get enough sleep
Although we usually feel tired due to the lack of caffeine and food during Ramadan, adjusting your sleep patterns before it starts will help you avoid feeling too exhausted while you are fasting.
