BA’s Arts Center celebrates centenary of late Tharwat Okasha on April 1

CAIRO – 21 March 2021: The Arts Center of the Cultural Communication Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina announced that a huge musical celebration will be held on April 1 at 6:00 p.m. at the Grand Hall Theater of the library's Conference Center.

This comes in celebration of the centenary of the writer and thinker, former Minister of Culture Tharwat Okasha, under the auspices of Mostafa el-Feki, the director of the library.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s Orchestra and Choir will participate in the celebration, led by Maestro Nair Nagy. 

The concert will also witness the participation of the flute soloist and Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem.
