“A Ghost Story” to screen at Balcon Heliopolis

CAIRO – 28 October 2017: Fantasy drama film “A Ghost Story” (2017), starring Casey Affleck, will be screening at Balcon, Heliopolis on Monday, October 30.

Director David Lowery brings a haunting journey through time and memory, where Affleck plays a man who recently dies and comes back as a ghost in a white sheet. He watches as his wife, played by Rooney Mara, goes on with life without him. Though he attempts to reach out to her, the ghost finds himself increasingly detached from both the physical world and time itself, and he must confront the deeper questions about life and what comes after.

“A Ghost Story” won the Critic’s award, the Jury Prize and Revelations prize at the Deauville Film Festival, and the AQCC award at the Fantasia Film Festival.
