‘Graduation’ is screening at Magnolia on Monday

CAIRO - 24 August 2017: Award-winning Romanian film, ‘Graduation,’ will screen at Magnolia Leaves of Art on Monday, August 28.

The film was directed by Cristian Mungiu and discusses the struggles and sacrifices of parent, Romeo Aldea, acted by Adrian Titieni when his daughter, Eliza, acted by Maria-Victoria Dragus gets assaulted in school after receiving a scholarship in the UK.

The film participated and won several awards at film festivals such as Best Director from Cannes Film Festival 2016, Silver Hugo Award for Best Actor and Best Screenplay at Chicago International Film Festival 2016, FIPRESCI Prize for Tromso International Film Festival 2017, and Critic Award at Hamburg Film Festival 2016.
