Sawiris Foundation for Social Development introduces new children’s award for the year 2022

CAIRO – 18 August 2021: The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development launched a new award for the Best Book for Children under the age of 12, for the first time since the award was launched in 2005, to be part of the Sawiris Cultural Awards for the year 2022.

The award was launched by the great writer Fatima al-Madoul, who had hoped to launch the award through the Supreme Council of Culture, before presenting it to the Board of Trustees of the Sawiris Foundation.

The Sawiris Cultural Competition is Sawiris Foundation’s most important means to support the Egyptian cultural scene.
