CAIRO – 3 June 2021: Using the hashtags #مصر_بتناديك #أجازتك_في_مصر #سافر_مصر the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities resumed its promotional campaign for the Arab market on digital media platforms.
CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board [ETPB] Ahmed Youssef said that ETPB now uses modern digital marketing methods for promotion on social media and major booking platforms in the Middle East and North Africa such as Wego.
Director General of Planning and Follow-up and Head of the International Campaign in the ETPB Suzan Mostafa explained that this campaign invites Arab tourists to Egypt for the summer holiday season and Eid al-Adha.
She added that the Arab market accounted for more than 20 percent of inbound tourism to Egypt before the COVID-19 pandemic.
