CAIRO - 7 December 2021: Housing Minister Assam el Gazzar said on Sunday the ministry will start receiving as of Monday applications to allocate eight pieces of lands covering 270 feddans in New Alamein city to investors to set up integrated urban activities.
The lands are sized between 25 to 56 feddans each with investments worth LE 30 billion, the minister said.
The new lands are expected to provide 200,000 direct and indirect jobs and investors can examine them through the New Urban Communities Authority's website (www.newcities.gov.eg).
The ministry will continue receiving applications till February 15.
