CAIRO - 7 July 2020: The Egyptian Embassy in London, in cooperation with the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce, organized a symposium via video-conference on discussing the economic measures taken by the Egyptian government amid the coronavirus ramifications.

International Cooperation Minister Rania Al-Mashat, UK Trade Envoy Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, and representatives of the Egyptian and British private sectors partook in the symposium, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Mashat stressed the Egyptian government's keenness to continue its structural reforms in the coming period, as they represent main pillar in achieving an economic boom.

Meanwhile, Egypt's Ambassador to the UK Tarek Adel said the event comes to boost dialogue between the two countries' private sectors and review the government's steps since the coronavirus outbreak.

Adel added that the two sides were keen on close coordination to overcome any obstacles facing the companies.

The two countries are working on signing the partnership agreement soon to ensure boosting bilateral relations after Brexit
