CAIRO - 11 September 2017: Egypt will take part in eight economic events in Jordan, Russia, Spain, Belgium, Belarus, Italy, Greece, and Cairo this year to promote investment opportunities in the country, Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) Ahmed el Wakil said.
He added that Egypt will also host delegations from Germany, Indonesia, Argentina, Ireland, Finland, China and Vietnam.
El Wakil pointed out that Egypt's participation in such conferences and exhibitions has contributed to attracting investments and opening up opportunities in various sectors in Egypt including the Suez Canal Economic Zone and the new administrative capital.
FEDCOC secretary general Alaa Ezz lauded the participation of Egypt in economic events across the world, pointing out that the flow of foreign investments increased by 37.5% and the deficit in the balance of trade has dropped to 46% since the government adopted the Economic reform program.
