Osama Rabie, the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, met with Rumaih Al-Rumaih, the Saudi Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Acting President of the Transport General Authority, alongside a distinguished delegation.
Their discussions at the Guidance Building in Ismailia Governorate centered around enhancing collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Egypt in maritime tourism, facilitating yacht and cruise ship entries, and easing navigation to key projects in the Red Sea.
The talks also covered mutual interests in improving maritime transport for passengers and goods. Rabie highlighted Egypt's comprehensive approach to promoting yacht tourism in the Suez Canal and underscored the transformation of the Ismailia Yacht Marina into a premier destination for yacht tourism.
During their visit, Al-Rumaih and his team visited the Suez Canal for a firsthand look at the operational technologies, mechanisms, and future strategies of the Suez Canal Authority.
