CAIRO – 4 January 2020: The Egyptian ticketing provider, Tazkarti company, said the attendance at matches of the Handball World Championship hosted by Egypt this year will be limited to 20 percent of the halls’ capacities, owing to the pandemic conditions.
This is the second time for Egypt to host the championship since 1999.
The percentage of attendance was determined in coordination with the relevant state institutions and the committee organizing the Handball World Championship.
During the championship, Tazkarti affirmed it would abide by the highest level of medical and preventive procedures against coronavirus.
Also, the ticketing provider will stick to maintaining social distancing between spectators and making sure all of them wear masks during matches.
The championship will be held in four halls: the Cairo International Stadium, the Sports City hall at the New Administrative Capital with a capacity of 7,000 spectators, the Egyptian Handball Federation’s hall in the 6th of October city with a capacity of 4,500 spectators and Borg El-Arab hall in Alexandria with a capacity of 5,000 spectators.
Tazkarti is the creator of the Egyptian Fan ID for the first time in Egypt under the trademark Tazkarti Fan ID. The company offers a ticket marketplace for different types of events across Egypt.
According to its website, the company’s mission is to “provide a safe and convenient marketplace for ticket buyers in different types of events—using the latest booking technologies.”
Tazkarti uses new and high-tech systems to guarantee authorized and original tickets, accurate delivery time, as well as safety and convenience.
