CAIRO – 11 October 2020: The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein arrived in Egypt Sunday to meet his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shourkry along with other Egyptian officials to discuss updates and topics of joint interest in the region.
Sources told Egypt Today that the Iraqi minister and the delegation accompanying him arrived at Cairo International Airport.
The visit will include a joint conference with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shourky and the Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman El Safdi afterward on Tuesday to conclude the agreements signed between Egypt, Iran, and Jordan in August.
The Iraqi Foreign Minister will also meet with other officials to coordinate the launch of the Iraqi-Egyptian committee, and he will meet with the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Abu al Gheit to discuss Arab regional updates.
