Sisi hopes people abide by COVID-19 preventive measures

CAIRO - 25 March 2020: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Wednesday that he is looking forward to people's commitment to the additional preventive measures taken by the government to confront the novel coronavirus.

"I am looking forward to the commitment of all people to these measures...to maintain the well-being and safety of Egypt and Egyptians," Sisi said on his official social media pages.

We can succeed in our mission via working together, he added.

In this regard, the president highlighted the role of women, families, the Armed Forces, the police in addition to the "heroes of the comprehensive healthcare system" nationwide in such conditions.



Sisi said he believes Egypt will pass this difficult stage, which he said "will become just a memory from the remote past"
