Second case of coronavirus reported in Egypt

CAIRO - 2 March 2020: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) said in a statement issued on early Monday that a new case of coronavirus was discovered in Egypt.

The patient showed slight symptoms of the virus and was in a stable condition, he was isolated in a hospital to receive treatment as his acquaintances are being checked, according to the statement.

This is the second case of coronavirus reported by Egyptian authorities.
The Egyptian Minister of Health Hala Zayed who flew earlier today to China had previously said that all scenarios have been prepared to deal with coronavirus outbreak in full accordance with WHO.
