German chancellor to receive Jordanian king on Tuesday

BERLIN - 13 September 2019: German Chancellor Angela Merkel is to receive Jordan's King Abdullah II on Tuesday at the headquarters of the German Chancellery, Deputy Speaker of the Federal Government Ulrike Demmer said on Friday.

Talks between the two sides will touch on the developments in the region and economic issues as well as bilateral relations, Demmer added.

The German chancellor will also receive Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić on Wednesday to mull political and economic European issues in addition to bilateral relations and international issues of mutual interest, according to Demmer.
