FM urges Egyptian travelers to Jordan to keep prescriptions of banned drugs

CAIRO - 1 October 2018: The Foreign Ministry urged Egyptians traveling to Jordan to keep prescriptions of banned drugs in order not to face trouble with the law in the kingdom.

As per the rules and regulations of carrying personal medication in Jordan, Pregabalin, which is used in the treatment of chronic pain conditions in Egypt, is among the banned drugs in the kingdom, it said in an advisory statement.

The statement came within the Foreign Ministry's continuous follow-up of the conditions of Egyptians traveling abroad.
