FM laid wreath of flowers on Ghana's former president’s grave

CAIRO – 11 May 2017: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry laid a wreath of flowers on the grave of Ghana’s former President Kwame Nkrumah and his Egyptian wife Fathia Rizk before concluding his visit to Accra, the capital of Ghana, said Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid in a statement Thursday.

The Foreign Minister also visited the museum of the late leader, next to his grave.
Abu Zeid added that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met his Ghanaian counterpart Shirley Botchway during his visit, where he discussed bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest.
