Defense min. back home from Cyprus

CAIRO - 15 December 2017: Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi returned home on Friday, wrapping up an official visit to Cyprus.

During the visit, Sobhi held a meeting with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations in the security and military fields.

Sobhi also signed an agreement with his Cypriot counterpart Christophoros Fokaides in the field of search and rescue.

Sobhi held a tripartite meeting with his Greek and Cypriot counterparts to discuss challenges besetting the Middle East region and the anti-terror war. (
